How To Measure A Metal Filter

Always measure the OUTSIDE of the frame to OUTSIDE of the frame as shown below.

Measure the entire filter of the OUTSIDE frame to OUTSIDE of the frame as shown.

How To Measure A Lens Filter

Carbon filters CANNOT BE WASHED. The carbon will disintegrate Carbon Range Hood/Microwave Filters should be changed every 3-6 months. These filters are used in Non-Ducted hoods that recirculate back in to the home.
Aluminum Mesh filters can be washed
soak in a degreaser solution such as Dawn dish soap. Lighted brush both sides of the filter, rinse, & dry. If the filter becomes caked with grease your mesh filter should be changed to prevent FIRE HAZARDS.

Please be exact/precise when measuring. Filters can be made to the 32nd of an inch.

L Shaped Range Hood Filters

"LifeTime" Aluminum Range Filters

The LIFETIME filter element consists of 7 layers of aluminum commercially known as 3003-H14, .025 thickness expanded to .050 strand. The front layer of expanded is extra rigid to give additional strength to the filter. The frame is made from sheet aluminum, .040 thickness joined by heavy rivets at one corner. This heavy Aluminum filter will retain 585 grams of dust per 2.25 sq. ft.. Resistance when clean is .077 w.g. at 350 FPM air velocity. Maximum temperature range of the HEAVY DUTY is 275 degrees F. The HEAVY DUTYAluminum filter is designed for extra rugged use in high capacity cooking, heating and air conditioning units, plus other applications where a rugged aluminum filter is required.
